For those that need to get into virtual reality however lack the hardware, HTC is providing a good deal on the Vive VR system and a graphics card. Right now for $800 at Vive.com, you will get the HTC Vive base system, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and a pre-order of Fallout 4 VR.
Overall that is a nice deal. The Vive is generally $600; at at present’s costs, the 1070 goes for about $400; and Fallout 4 VR is at present $60. All informed, HTC’s deal provides you a low cost round $260. Not dangerous for a newbie’s dip into the world of virtual reality.
The GTX 1070 graphics card options 1920 CUDA cores, 120 texture models, 8GB GDDR5 RAM, and a 1,506Mhz core clock. The Vive, in the meantime, comes with the headset, two wi-fi controllers, and two base stations. Fallout 4 VR rolls out in December. HTC introduced earlier in October that Vive buyers would get a free copy of the VR-ified version of Fallout 4.
There’s no particular finish date on this deal. Instead, HTC says it is going to be obtainable “while supplies last.”
